A Tell-Tale Tattler Exclusive
Hollyweird, July 10 2009:
In a shocking turn of events, prominent agent, Alex Berkley, 38, was found dead in his car. His death is being investigated as a possible suicide. Gossip monger Perez Spillton, who was monitoring a police scanner, was on the scene within minutes. Spillton told the Tattler that Hollyweird police found Berkley slumped at the wheel of his car, clutching a typed note that read: "I am guilty of being unkind. I should have been a better agent. Forgive me, I'll go now. - AB"
Dectective Harry Ballzac (yes, that's really his name), who is also lead investigator for the Sam Marlowe sporkicide that happened last week, claimed to have seen it all. Twice.
It's believed that Berkley was bereft at the recent death of his biggest client Michael Jackson. Berkley was also handling Dirk Rockwell whose career, of late, seems to be on a downward spiral. Not exactly a good couple of weeks for Berkley. In fact, Rockwell's most recent gaff - making a spectacle of himself at MJ's memorial service - enraged Jackson fans, some of whom may have been responsible for burning Rockwell's luxurious beach house to the ground yesterday. Rockwell has not been seen since.
Berkley leaves behind his new bride, Riva, cousin to Dirk Rockwell.
Oh, wait. Strike that. We've just been informed that Riva and Rockwell were NOT cousins as believed. You can color the Tattler surprised at that revelation! Certainly adds more fuel to the suicide theory. And brings up more titillating questions for the Tattler. Delicious!! Stay tuned.
